A repetitive ear-worm of a track would be the most fitting description, in a nutshell, of the latest single ‘Sex’ from The Ultraviolets.
Sex contains a really memorable chorus which does not fail to get stuck on your lips by the second chorus of the song, something which takes a lot of work as a songwriter to achieve.
The band who are new to my ears, have absolutely made an impression from the start. Their ear for a brilliantly catchy song is something which comes across very easily in their track.
Sometimes, it’s easy to imagine a song in its live form, on a stage. However, with this track I can just imagine the amount of energy it’d bring to a room with its driving guitar and booming vocals.
A proper belter from The Ultraviolets, a band I’ll definitely be listening to more of. Properly great music.
