With the clocks going forward, days have gotten longer, and it can only mean one thing – finding that perfect song to soundtrack your summer anthems.
‘Until Somebody Gets…’ is the latest release by Manchester based band, The Recreation. The track comes in at a sweet two minutes twenty-one seconds and delivers nothing but the best. It may be short but it sure is nothing short of becoming the next big thing to come out of the iconic music scenes of our beloved city. Known for their electrifying riffs and infectious melodies, ‘Until Somebody Gets…’ certainly is an earworm. Not only is it bound to be the next greatest summer track, it also provides words of wisdom such as my favourite, “… it’s all shits and giggles until someone giggles and shits” who knew a band could provide a cracking tune but also words of wisdom? The band has big things on the horizon which includes the first part of their double album ‘Love In – Love Out’, ‘Love In’ getting released at the end of May but for those who can’t wait, you can catch the band at their headline show at the Deaf Institute 27th April where you might catch a glimpse of the first half of the album if you’re lucky.
