The latest offering from Derby based bedroom pop producer and artist Sfven does it’s job perfectly in creating an image of a scenario through the means of music.
Sfven himself says that ‘Fingers Through My Hair’ is a song which tries to capture the nostalgia of the honeymoon phase of a relationship.
Something very relatable to many, a phase most of us go through in our lifetime. It’s some sort of divine beauty when an artist manages to capture the image and emotions we all feel like this, it’s even harder to actually get that across in the music. Something that Sfven has done brilliantly.
Produced to perfection by an artist with excellent understanding of his craft. The composition of this track is possibly one of the other main focus points.
As mentioned, it can be so hard to capture such imagery in music. Although, somehow Sfven has done this, the melody in the track and the harmony used all contribute to a track which has been composed by an artist who has clearly studied what he does for a long time to get to this stage.
Lost for words, this track is too good for me to give a good description of it.
