Sad Boys Club have released their latest nostalgic floor filler ‘Delicious’. This track is something which feels like a nod to the 2000s while still being up to date and very new. This single is the latest in a string of songs coming out on the bands upcoming album ‘Lullabies From The Lightning Tree’, which is releasing via Modern Sky.
This single and the upcoming album come off the back of an abundance of success on a string of previous EPs which the band released. With a sound that throws people like myself back to some of the music which I grew up with, it’s quite easy to see why their sound is making them so successful.
This song sees something of a rather unique vocal performance too, not a voice I would particularly say is the best vocal performance in the world, however very memorable in its own right.
I’m not quite sure whether it’s the tonality of the voice itself or how it sits within this track that makes the vocal so great to listen to, either way, it’s a brilliant vocal performance!
This song really makes me feel like I’m back to being an angsty 13 year old again and I’m loving it.
