Pseudopomp, the London based alt-rock duo, have released their incredible debut single ’23’. The song is a powerful blend of confessional verses and vibrant garage rock chorus, capturing the soaring yet often unrealistic expectations of new romance.

Pseudopomp is formed from the ashes of previous bands, where they discovered a shared creative spark during after-hours jam sessions. Being able to bring their past experience into a fresh band, and collaborating with Ben ‘Faz’ Farestvedt of Damage Audio, they have been able to further refine their jam sessions into a spectacular debut single.

The single’s artwork, inspired by an infographic from The Economist, cleverly mirrors the financial trajectories of Greece and Bulgaria, adding a layer of gallows humour to the duo’s backstory. This playful nod to their home countries reflects the serendipitous yet tumultuous merger of their musical talents.

’23’ is a powerful introduction from Pseudopomp and puts them firmly on the map with their introspective lyrics and explosive instrumentation.
