According to London based singer Mike Stoyanov, his sound “just punches you in the face, man and forces you to submit”. So if you want to feel like you’ve been assaulted by a bloke in a Fred Perry top, then Stoyanov’s new track ‘Everything You Ever Wanted’ could be for you.
The single, again in his own words, is “dedicated to those who are not afraid to jump in the water.” He expands on this, directing his tirade towards those of us who are happy keeping dry with our body temperature at a reasonable level: “You can spend your whole life on the shore scared of the water because you can’t swim, but see, man, the only way you can learn to swim is to get in the f*cking water.”
Just one look on his social media, and you’ll find his page littered with quotes of a similar mind blowing ilk. There isn’t any indication towards the whole thing being a parody – no shattered smokescreens or break of character; leaving us with nothing left to assume, other than the fact that Mike Stoyanov must quite simply be the living breathing embodiment of modern day rock n roll. Rest assured, Mike is going full steam ahead on his train of self belief – with, or without you (man).
