Funky, twangy and catchy. This is some pop song and some band. Little Planets, the latest signing to Modern Sky who were born out of the city of Leeds, demonstrate some incredible mix between funk and pop in their latest track and I’m loving it!
It’s hard to know where to start when a track is this good, the production is as you’d expect in any pop music genre – absolutely divine. Not a thing out of place and every instrument is so tightly tied together.
With their first ever headline show beckoning at Leeds Lending Rooms as well as a spot on the Sound City line up in Liverpool, it does feel like the start of a mega journey for this band. You sort of have to imagine that with a song this catchy, Little Planets will have audiences screaming back their songs when they hit these stages this spring.
A very promising band with undeniable talent and an instant likeability factor within their music. It’s hard to not commend a band when their ability shines through like it does for these guys.
