As more and more festivals are announcing returns or cancellations Isle of Wight have put out a statement regarding their plans. The festival based at Seaclose Park, Newport is a summer staple and hosts lots of smaller UK bands and is a firm aim of most bands to get onto the line up. The festival usual takes place in June this year, but with restrictions not due to lift in time and not wanting to risk the safety of visitors they have delayed the date.

The Isle of Wight Festival will moving to 16 – 19th September 2021, only a few months later than originally planned. In a statement the festival said “We’re thrilled to be able to welcome everyone to the island in September. We’re aiming to bring back as many of the artists as we can but whatever happens, rest assured, you’ll enjoy a stellar line-up over the festival weekend. It will be the perfect place to see out the summer in spectacular fashion.”
