Newcastle based festival Hit The North has announced a new date for the festival and an accompaniment of brilliant bands to the lineup. The festival had previously rescheduled to take place in April 2021, but now the organisers have put a statement out saying “After a difficult year for everyone this will be a great event for Newcastle, the line up is full of amazing new talent and we are buzzing to have kept DMA’S as our headliners. After such a terrible year for the music industry, we are delighted to bring the festival back. It’s amazing that we can end it on a high with one of the city’s most loved events.”
The new date for Hit The North will be Saturday 23rd October 2021, it may seem a long way off still not, but with the lineup they have announced it’s certainly worth the wait. Alongside DMA’S remaining headliners, Sports Team, The Blinders, Andrew Cushin, Ellysse Mason, Lauran Hibberd, Hi Sienna, Larkins, Lottery Winners, Pacific, Stanleys, The Clockworks and many many others have been announced.
Hit The North have said “The line up is our strongest yet and we can’t wait to share it with you. We look forward to seeing the city’s beloved music venues full once again, after what has been a difficult time for our sector. “
