Justin Bieber has just been announced as the fourth headliner of the British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park.

Biebs will find himself in good company, as he sits atop of the bill alongside none other than Green Day, Kings of Leon and Phil Collins.

Whilst Bieber probably has no idea who any of his fellow headliners are, BST’s knack of having one hell of a line up, has again been proved.

The booking will see the controversial pop star bring his Purpose world tour to London’s Hyde Park on the 2nd July.

Not only that, but it really is a feast for people with an awful taste in music, as Bieber will find himself being supported by Martin Garrax, Scandinavian pop star, Tove Lo, and recently BRITs Critics’ Choice Shortlistee, Anne Marie.

Over the past couple of years, British Summer Festival has become a true festival staple amongst avid goers.

The long line of alumni consist of the likes of, Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, The 1975, The Who, and bloody Taylor Swift.

it’s no surprise then, that this will be a festival exclusive for Justin Bieber, and thus far looks to be the only London show in 2017 for the singer.

Why he deserves our attention is beyond almost everyone looking on from the sidelines of the fans.

His huge UK tour, that has only just finished, was marred by the singer’s own ego, and want to attract the wrong kind of attention.

Bieber walked off a few stages up an down the country, called his fans obnoxious, and basically charged astronomical fees to do so, but it really is all about the fans with Bieber isn’t it.

Of all the rants, he later apologised, by saying: “There’s going to be times where I say the wrong thing, because I’m human. But I don’t pretend to be perfect and I hope to God that, you know, I don’t say the right thing all the time, because if that was the case then I’d be a robot, and I’m not a robot. There are times when I get upset … times when I get angry, there are times when I’m going to be frustrated. But I’m always going to be myself on this stage.”
