As the surf-gaze nuances bleed into the new year (2017), there are few bands who have managed to stay along for the ride, Echo Beach are one of those bands. Their EP, still to this day, is talked of in a high regard. The band released the EP during their early stages, but it’s propped them up to be quite a respectable outfit.

A single is on the verge of being released, so we thought we’d get to know them  a bit more before its release.

Check them out below…

Who are Echo Beach?

Four weirdos making jangly music to hide their despair.

What is Echo Beach?

A fun, interactive musical experience for all the family!

Where is Echo Beach

Echo Beach know no fixed abode, although you can find us in Liverpool mostly.

How did you meet?

We all met in school, how cute is that?

Why are Echo Beach a band?

Echo Beach are a band because a world of Brexit and Donald Trump needs music in order to make everything seem okay.

We also really love writing and playing live so there’s that too.

Explain your live show:

An alcohol fuelled, dream-like state. A roller-coaster of emotion and sound, if you will. Above all, our live show is fun.

What can we expect from 2017?

You can expect a lot. We just finished recording our debut single at Sugarhouse this week and we’re really proud of it. We’ll be releasing it in mid-February with a single release show to follow in March with our pals SPINN so keep your eyes out for that! We’re also planning on a few small festival appearances and more support slots, we had loads of fun supporting INHEAVEN and Pale Waves last year so expect to catch us at a few shows in the year. Other than that, who knows what’ll happen…

Where can we find your music?

Right now you can find us mainly on Soundcloud, our demo EP ‘Greetings from Echo Beach‘ is on there. We’re currently in the process of sorting a Spotify out for our debut single so again, keep an eye on our twitter: @echobeachmusic for updates.
