Liverpool’s iconic Sound City have just released another wave of acts following on from rescheduling the festival due to coronavirus and it’s all we’ve been hoping for. Widely regarded as one of Europe’s most innovative and pioneering festivals, Sound City has been showcasing some of the best underground artists amongst those who have already reached the top of their game.

Sound City has expanded to three days and will now be taking place from 25th – 27th September 2020. One of our favourite bands, Red Rum Club, will be headlining the Sunday with original headliners Friendly Fires and Pale Waves headline Friday and Saturday respectively. Also welcomed to the updated lineup are Dream Wife, Larkins and many more from all over the world.

These incredible headliners will be joined by a wealth of talent including The Blinders, Tim Burgess, The Lathums, The Snuts, Stanleys, Jamie Webster and whole host of the best bands that we’re desperate to see.

The dazzling weekend also celebrates Liverpool itself and all of its present and possible future glories, set across perhaps the country’s most dynamic cultural landscape in the shadow of the Anglican Cathedral – the thriving Baltic Triangle. Sound City has moved to this site in recent years and has seen the festival grow in stature and provides plenty of entertainment all day outside of the music.

During these difficult times Sound City have been doing all they can to keep the music flowing with their “GuestHouse” feature and helping others out with an advice line that you can contact if you need any guidance with marketing or funding to help get through this period. If you feel this is beneficial for you then email advice@soundcity.uk.com and the will do their best to help guide you.
