London based rising pop-rock princess Gia Lily has sparked ripples of excitement in the music space. Immediately achieving widespread tastemaker approval and radio support from BBC Introducing, the talent was introduced to a new audience as she built upon her social media following, reaching over 300,000 followers and 7 million likes at TikTok alone.
With the recent announcement of her highly anticipated debut EP, titled ‘If You Think These Are About You, They Probably Are,’ you can already taste the exhilarating experience that awaits you at her very debut headline show.
Her new music moves us into a moodier, melancholy sound without losing any of her instant pop addictiveness, Gia’s voice flows with grace, whole-hearted emotion, and an abundance of talent. Her music also delivers upon Gia’s desire to bring guitar solos back into modern pop, with searing performances from her rockstar boyfriend, Callum Rich.
As an artist who has become known for connecting with fans for online collaborations, it was a natural next step for Gia to step into her headline show era, starting off at the renowned The Grace in London.
Making music that’s at turn both sassy and sad, the Londoner is influenced by empowering, high impact artists such as Charli XCX, Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus – but also with an inspiration for longer-standing icons such as Gwen Stefani and Freddie Mercury. Her own talent is also being recognised by those in the know, following collaborations with Chloe Angelides (Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato), Lewis Gardiner (Megan Thee Stallion, Ellie Goulding) and Jonathan Quarmby (James Arthur, Tom Walker). Those sessions have resulted in a growing catalogue of potential hits, which Gia will be unleashing in the near future.
In addition to her talents as a performer and a songwriter, Gia is also rising in the worlds of acting. She featured in ‘Cognition’ alongside Andrew Scott and Jeremy Irvine, and will star in the upcoming sci-fi feature film ‘Light’.
