The diverse group of musicians bring different genres and styles to the table, combined with their collaborative style of composing, their set is eclectic as they perform songs with a base of grunge, blues-rock, surf-rock, cumbia, bossa nova, punk, and everything in between. Being deeply inspired by late 70s British/American and 80s Spanish rock music, they combine high energy guitar solos and harmonies from bands like Fleetwood Mac or The Mammas and The Pappas, with 90s-00s rock of Pixies or Arctic Monkeys. Eve’s lyrics draw inspiration from the magnificent Ella Fitzgerald, and her trumpet adds another layer of authenticity to her music. “There is nothing better than the hype during a live show when Eve swings her trumpet up ready to blast a solo in front of the audience” says Freddie, bassist of the band. Oli makes the Spanish influences come through by adding elements of Latin American music from bands like Buena Vista Social club, classic rock bands from her youth such as Amaral and Fito y Fitipaldies, or more British inspired rock like Dover, Pignoise and Hinds.
