Desmond Myers has released his brave follow up EP ‘How To Break A Heart‘ after his most successful release ‘Shadowdancer‘ which was release 2021.

It’s a bold move to go against the grain of releasing streamable music to play into Spotify’s algorithm, however Desmond Myers had the strength to back himself and release a beautiful and soft 4 minute lead single with ‘Take A Bow’. Fortunately, the bold strategy has paid off for him. His beautiful vocals really stand out in the track and carry it into it flourishes around the 2 minute mark when the drums and guitars kick into the song.

“Take A Bow’ might be the lead single, but title track and EP opener, ‘How To Break A Heart’ is the real stand out and ties together all the best elements from the rest of the EP and boosts Desmond Myers soulful and gentle vocals, coupled with a driving bassline that a laidback groove to it.

The 5-track EP, featuring ‘How To Break A Heart’, ‘Sounding The Alarm’, ‘Take A Bow’, ‘Comfort Zone’ & ‘Theresa’, has a common theme and style running throughout, which allows the vocals to stand strong. However each song a slightly different feel and genre to it, from Pop to RnB Desmond Myers seems to be able to take influence and mould it into his own powerful style.
