Electric Fields have announced their second wave of artists to join the amazing line up for their 5th birthday.

2018 will see The Horrors and Public Service Broadcasting join headliners Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Leftfield.

Public Service Broadcasting are coming back to Electric Fields after their stunning performance in 2016, whereas shoegaze pioneers RIDE will be making sure Dumfries & Galloway’s fields are treated to an acclaimed performance. The Horrors will be ensuring that people are dancing with their unique synth-rock.

Alt-indie band The Orielles are going to grace EF18 with their sparkly live performance, joining punk rockers Idles in the fields.

EF18 has many new and upcoming Scots bands to add to the bill such as eclectic art-pop band The Vegan Leather, Britpop-inspired Vida, and punks Rascalton. These are joined by Dundee’s indie beauties St. Martiins and bass-driven indie Shambolics.

For those who like comedy and cabaret, Neu Reekie! is back to showcase the best of spoken word, and for those EDM fans out there, EF have got Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s to ensure you can listen to those tracks!

Food and drink will be provided by The Pitt, Scotland’s finest street food purveyors.

Nick Roberts, Festival Co-Founder, said:“This is going to be so fun, I honestly can’t wait. We’ve been working really hard over the past few years, and we’re just chuffed to be able to be putting on what’s set to be another great weekend of music, with our always excellent audience, in such a beautiful setting!”

Tickets are on sale now from www.electricfieldsfestival.com and are going quickly, so don’t miss out!
