The Brits Critics’ Choice Award winner for 2017 has been revealed.

The controversial awards ceremony, that always finds a reason to give One direction an award, will take place on February 24th at the 02 Arena, and will be broadcasted on ITV2.

The ceremony, which was hosted by James Cordon for four years – then Ant and Dec for two years previously, will be hosted by Christmas caroller Michael Bublé.

The three acts that were announced for the shortlist of the award were, former singer of Rudimental, Anna-Marie (who?) , pop star, Dua Lipa, and R&B singer, Rag’n’Bone Man.

It has at long last been revealed that Rag’n’Bone Man (actual name Rory Graham), is going to be picking up the prestigious award, which is judged by the industry elite… And journalists.

Previous Critics’ Choice winners consists of: Adele, Sam Smith, Emeli Sandé, Ellie Goulding and Florence and the Machine. So Graham will find himself in pretty decent company, no doubt.

The winner, Graham, said: “I thought they had made a mistake. I was up against two pop giants. It’s bloody brilliant! I’m crazy happy. Proper massive grin”.

Graham was clearly quite delirious with excitement, as nobody has ever heard of his two competitors for the award.

The award will be given to Rory Graham at the BRITs nominations launch on January 14th.

Graham will also perform alongside, Olly Murs, Craig David, Christine and the Queens and Calum Scott at the live awards ceremony.
