The long awaited release of The Jade Assembly’s latest single ‘Got My Star’ has finally arrived and with a massive bang. Unfortunately ‘Got My Star’ narrowly missed out on reaching the top 50 in the vinyl chart’s by a few records, however this didn’t dampen anybody’s celebrations as The Jade Assembly played two shows with This Feeling to launch the single.

The Jade Assembly brought their hometown single launch party to Jimmy’s in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Jimmy’s is one of the hottest venues in Manchester and with a very intimate space downstairs The Jade Assembly packed it out.

With sweat dripping from the low ceiling, the crowd stood eagerly anticipating the wall of noise that The Jade Assembly were about to hit them with. The Jade Army are devout followers and they were out in full force with their voices firmly lubricated with alcohol with the entire room singing (or slurring) the words to ‘Our Town’ back to the crammed stage.

Fan favourite and previous single ‘One Last Time’ brought the pace down as The Jade Assembly performed a more heartfelt song that builds momentum and gets the crowd bouncing around the room ready for them to unleash their incredible new single ‘Got My Star’. Despite not having been released at the time of they performed, every body in the crowd knew the words and was singing it back louder than frontman John Foster.

The Jade Assembly brought a special performance for their show of their single release tour and celebrated the success with their adoring fans. ‘Got My Star’ is available for digital download and streaming on Monday 4th December accompanied by B-side track ‘Save One For Me’.
